About
I'm obsessed with how society transforms itself.
My name is Christopher Lyrhem. I call myself a disruptive analyst, which means someone who studies how the new keeps replacing the old, and tries to distil possible futures into something original, tangible and useful.

My story
Born and raised in Gothenburg. Then fourteen years at SEB in Stockholm, in equity research and portfolio management. Researching a wide spectrum of sectors, companies and people teaches you how things change, and what really moves people. You learn what causes growth, and what causes stagnation.
Today I'm building Disruptivity, operating Disruptivity Times (the world's first newspaper from the future), working as a Venture Partner at Sparkmind Capital, and recently published my book General Theory of Disruptivity.

Method
Make the future tangible.
Explaining how markets and society have been disrupted over the past 300 years is powerful. But to really cut to the core, you have to make it concrete: how has your industry transformed before—and how could it transform next?
My sessions combine business logic, technology and history with plausible scenarios, so audiences leave with questions they can act on tomorrow morning.

Testimonials

“We had Christopher as a representative for SEB at Latitude59 in Tallinn (keynote speaker) and it was truly thought-provoking and futuristic. He did a great job in building up his theses so that the audience was engaged and clearly understood what might be in store for the business world going forward. Many of the people in the audience later shared their reflections and how Christopher's presentation impacted their views of the future. We were very happy with his engaging presentation style and unique perspectives, and dearly recommend him for other venues.”
